The annual Impact Report is a collection of submissions, accolades, achievements and recognitions that highlight the work of UC San Diego's Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life.

Published annually in September, each edition of our Impact Report celebrates accomplishments from the prior academic year – with submissions accepted on an ongoing basis until June.

A Message from Vice Chancellor Satterlund

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Alysson SatterlundWelcome to the 2025–26 Student Affairs and Campus Life (SACL) Impact Report, our annual publication highlighting many of the wonderful contributions our SACL teams and valued campus partners make every day to enhance the Triton Student Experience. This edition of the Impact Report arrives as we reach the midway point of our 2024–29 Strategic Plan, and is the first annual report since SACL reorganized the division in November 2025.

The reorganization of our SACL teams, leadership, and work strengthened our student-centered mission, focused our priorities with the pillars of our Strategic Plan, positioned our resources and talents to complement the refreshed UC San Diego University Strategic Plan, and in collaboration with students and our campus partners, made significant progress towards co-creating a world-class Triton Student Experience.

As I reflect on the 2025–26 academic year, I am filled with deep gratitude for our Student Affairs and Campus Life professional teams, campus partners, and our more than 2,000 Triton students employees, who put their minds, hearts, and energy into advancing student-centeredness. This 2025–26 Impact Report reflects their hard work, creativity and care in serving our community. I very much look forward to the year ahead as we continue to strive to build an exceptional Triton Student Experience.

I hope you find as much fun and inspiration in reading this year’s Impact Report as we did in doing the work it highlights!

Production Timeline

The Impact Report is published annually in September, recognizing accomplishments and accolades from the prior academic year (Sept. through June).

Submissions for the upcoming edition are accepted throughout the year, until the June 17 deadline. Recognition for summer accolades (July - August) may be included on a case-by-case basis.

Important Dates

OCT - MAY: Ongoing submissions accepted
JUNE: Deadline to submit content
JULY - AUG: Final edits and layout
SEPT: Publication online
