What can Tritons discuss on Triton2Triton?
Our peer-to-peer well-being support system will address the critical need for support for UC San Diego students run by UC San Diego students. College students are often faced with academic, social, and personal stressors, which can lead to certain challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress. These challenges can significantly impact a student's academic performance, overall well-being, and future success.
Our program will serve all UC San Diego students who need wellbeing support and guidance, regardless of their background or circumstances. We recognize that students come from diverse backgrounds and may have different needs and experiences, and we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all.
Our trained peers are skilled at communication and active listening, however, are unable to help in crises or matters that are out of the scope of the Triton2Triton program such as legal advice, academic advising, or medical emergencies.
If there is an urgent concern, please call your local police by dialing ‘911’, or call UC San Diego Counseling and Psychological Services’ (CAPS) 24-hour access line at 858-534-3755, and/or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
